''The Quest for Fire'' ((フランス語:La Guerre du feu)) is a 1911 Belgian novel by "J.-H. Rosny", the pseudonym of two brothers; the author was likely the elder of the two, Joseph Henri Honoré Boex (1856 – 1940).〔According to the dust jacket of a 1967 edition () it was the older brother of the Rosny brothers who was author.〕 It was first published in English in 1967.
It was made into a feature film of the same name in 1981. The film stars Ron Perlman, Rae Dawn Chong and Everett McGill.
